The Paxico Merchants Association
|Woodman Hall is located in the Historic District of Paxico. The building
which seats up to 150 people is available for rent to use for meetings and
other events. The building was constructed around 1901 by The Modern
Woodman Insurance Company of America. It was originally located on
Snokomo Road near the Snokomo school house. It served as a community
center for meetings, dances, and community events during the early 1900's.
After being abandoned for nearly 60 years, the building was purchased by
Clarence Radell who planned to drill for oil there but never did. He sold the
building to Dave and Judy Adams who moved the building to Paxico in the
early 1990's for use as an antique store. The building remains in Paxico and
is currently owned by Steve Hund, Jr. The building has a lot of history. If
only the walls could tell us! Plan your next event in Paxico and take
advantage of this historic location near the unique shopping district in Paxico.
